Accessibility

We want Calm Child Therapy to be usable and welcoming for as many people as possible, including parents and carers who rely on assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to improve the experience over time.

We aim to follow widely recognised accessibility good practice as we design and build the platform. In particular, we aim to provide:

• Keyboard navigation for interactive elements, with visible focus states.
• Readable text with sensible sizing and spacing.
• Sufficient colour contrast between text and its background.
• Clear labels on forms and inputs.
• A responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes and devices.
• Meaningful alternative text for informative images.

We are continuing to improve, and some areas may not yet be fully accessible to every user or assistive technology. Known areas we are aware of include:

• The interactive 3D “how a brain works” experience is a visual feature and may not be fully conveyed to all assistive technologies.
• Some pages use motion and animation; where possible we respect your system “reduce motion” preference, but not every animation may be covered.
• Some sections include auto-playing, muted preview media.

We aim to follow accessibility good practice but do not currently claim full conformance with any specific accessibility standard or certification. If we complete a formal audit in the future, we will update this page to reflect the results.
