By creating an account, booking a session, or purchasing a product through Calm Child Therapy platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Legal Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Calm Child Therapy is a marketplace platform that connects families with independent, vetted psychologists and child therapists for online (and, where available, in-person) sessions, and sells digital educational products such as printable guides, planners, and toolkits.

We do not directly provide therapy ourselves. Sessions are delivered by independent specialists who use our platform to manage bookings and meet with clients.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or book a session on behalf of a child. You are responsible for ensuring all information you provide is accurate and complete, and for keeping your login details confidential.

Children participate in sessions only with the knowledge, consent, and ongoing involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

Sessions can be booked through your dashboard or by submitting a consultation request. Once confirmed, sessions can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Changes made after this window are subject to the refund policy below.

We want every family and every specialist to feel the platform is fair. Our refund policy is as follows:

• Sessions cancelled by you 24 hours or more before the scheduled time: full refund or free reschedule.
• Sessions cancelled by you less than 24 hours before the scheduled time: non-refundable, except in cases of genuine emergency, which we review on a case-by-case basis.
• Sessions cancelled by the specialist, or missed due to a platform/technical fault on our side: full refund or free rebooking with another specialist — your choice.
• Digital products: because these are downloadable files delivered instantly, all sales are final once a file has been downloaded.
• If a digital product is corrupted, missing, or materially different from its description, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a free replacement or full refund.
• Refund requests should be sent to our support email and are typically processed within 5–10 business days.

Session fees are set per specialist (or, where applicable, by the platform) and are displayed clearly before you confirm a booking. Product prices are shown in the shop before checkout.

All payments are processed securely through our payment provider; we do not store your full card details. Calm Child Therapy retains a commission on each completed session, as disclosed to specialists at the time they join the platform.

Specialists who join our platform do so as independent contractors, not as employees of Calm Child Therapy or AUZtec Innovations. Joining is subject to our vetting process, including verification of qualifications, professional registration, and references.

Specialists are paid via payout on a schedule disclosed in their practitioner dashboard, net of platform commission. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any specialist who breaches professional, ethical, or platform conduct standards.

You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes, but is not limited to: recording sessions without the explicit consent of all participants, using the platform for any unlawful purpose, harassing or abusing specialists or staff, or attempting to arrange payment for services outside of the platform to avoid fees.

All digital products purchased through our shop are licensed for personal, single-family, non-commercial use only. Redistribution, resale, or public sharing of any digital product is strictly prohibited.

All platform content, branding, and design remain the property of Calm Child Therapy and AUZtec Innovations.

Information shared during sessions is treated as confidential by our specialists, subject to the standard safeguarding obligations described in our Legal Disclaimer. For details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

Our liability in connection with your use of the platform is limited as set out in our Legal Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in abusive conduct, or use the platform unlawfully. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles, save where local consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
